• Scala

At twelve storeys high, the Scala office tower will be the tallest landmark building in the new I/D Cologne district, on a former railway yard, in the city of Cologne. Its distinctive design, with its shape seemingly broken into two, allows space for green terraces and loggias that are stepped all around the building, giving it its catchy name "Scala".

With its metallic, corten-like façade and planted terraces, the Scala will stand out from the surrounding buildings without losing its connection to the sites’ industrial past. The “green” concept will also be continued throughout the building with prominently placed green walls on the ground and first floors. Designed using BIM, the Scala Tower is aiming for LEED Gold certification.
